EchoAnalysis
Project Title and Code: ΕchoAnalysis- ΕΚΠΑΡ01-0044142
Short project description
EchoAnalysis is a medical decision support software project for the staging of Chronic Liver Disease. The system will make use of data from ultrasound examinations, data visualization tools, medical image processing, and artificial intelligence algorithms in order to support physicians in achieving more accurate, faster, and better-documented diagnoses.
Project objectives
The main objective of EchoAnalysis is to develop an integrated information system that:
- Organizes and visualizes clinical data from ultrasound examinations
- Supports the assessment of fibrosis, steatosis, and portal hypertension
- Incorporates artificial intelligence algorithms to enhance the diagnostic process
- Reduces subjectivity in clinical evaluation
- Improves the speed and quality of medical decision-making
Expected results
Through the implementation of the project, the following results are expected:
- Improved diagnostic accuracy in chronic liver disease,
- Better use of data derived from multiparametric ultrasound
- Development of innovative AI and image-processing tools
- Stronger support for physicians through more objective and evidence-based information
- Enhanced innovation capacity and competitiveness of Echomed in the field of medical technology.
Funding
The EchoAnalysis project is implemented by Echomed with funding support under the “Research – Innovate” program. The project is co-funded by the European Union and national resources.
